Craft Corner: YouTube

We love finding new ways to honor our fandoms via DIY crafts.  Friends often ask us how we made something and we decided to create a YouTube channel to showcase some of our favorite projects.  We encourage our blog readers to check it out!  (Follow the YouTube link at the top of the page).  Here is a what we have been working on lately...

We began with a three part series of decor crafts.  All have been done in a coordinating color scheme using similar fabrics and finishes.  The idea for this came after we went to Dapper Day and came home with bags full of pins, brooches and Mickey Fascinators.  If you have read our other posts, you know that we like to shop.  Some of our very favorite vendors were at the Dapper Day Expo, including Match Accessories, Hat and Mouse, Femme de Bloom, BB-Cre.8 and Fan Flaire.  We don't want these precious gems hiding away in a closet somewhere so we decided to find clever ways to display them.

ROSE GOLD SPOON TREES...

Last year, I made some Christmas tress for MasterChef, using plastic spoons.  People loved them.  Because everyone is obsessed with rose gold, right now, I thought it would be fun to do an update.

We hope that you will enjoy our YouTube channel.  Please forgive my often strained sounding voice.  I typically record the voice tracks when the kids are asleep and I am THE WORST at projecting my voice.  Thanks for putting up with me!

If you are interested in seeing us make another craft, we are open to suggestions.  Leave your comments below.  And please give us a thumbs up on YouTube and tell your friends!
