The Millers

We are big fans of all things related to Disney, Harry Potter, Star Wars, Marvel/DC, Game of Thrones (Mom only) and a whole lot more.  We spend a lot of time at the Disneyland Resort and attend as many fan conventions as we can fit into our calendar.  We are also really into elevating our fandoms by dressing up in Cosplay or Disneybounding. 

People are always asking our advice and tips, as they apply to everything above.  We created this blog to share our adventures and maybe assist those who want to have a few of their own.

If you see us out and about, don't be shy and say "hi".  We love connecting with fellow fans and spreading the joy we feel every time we walk down Main Street.

Heidi Miller

Heidi is an Emmy Award Winning Set Decorator who has worked on "MasterChef USA", "MasterChef Jr.", "Hell's Kitchen", "Jimmy Kimmel Live", "The Man Show" and many more television and film projects.  After earning her Bachelor's of Science in Home Economics and Interior Design from Cal Poly San Luis Obispo she moved to Los Angeles to pursue her dream job: Set Decorator.  She worked for several seasons as a Prop Person on "Beverly Hills: 90210" and on several projects for Nickelodeon.  She met her husband, Gabe, on the sets of "Keenan and Kel" and "All That!"

She has also worked as an Interior Designer to several celebrity clients, including Jimmy Kimmel and Gerard Butler. 

Heidi grew up in a creative family.  Her Mom is an avid crafter, seamstress, and chef.  Her Grandma Mary was a big inspiration, as well, because she was the perfect homemaker and skilled baker.  Mary's gorgeous Christmas ornaments still adorn the Miller Family tree each year.

Heidi has had a life-long love for all things Disney.  She used to work hard as a Campfire Girl to earn money for a yearly trip to Disneyland.  She has also been a huge fan of Star Wars since it first premiered WAY back in 1977.

Heidi is most proud of her kids, Ella and Milo.  She often says that her life began when she became a Mom. 

Ella Miller

Ella is an aspiring artist and drinker of tea.  She has been a fan of Disney for as long as she can remember.  She is also a dedicated book reader who loves Harry Potter, the Hunger Games, Divergent, and more.  She attended her first fan convention in 2013 and has been hooked ever since. 

At D23 in 2015, she participated in a team Disney trivia challenge hosted by Oh My Disney!  She was the youngest competitor.  Her team won and mostly because she knew the answer to every question.  She got the attention of Disney Legend, Marty Sklar who approached Heidi to say that he "had never seen anything like (Ella) in 50 years of working with Disney".

Ella almost always Disneybounds while visiting the Disney parks.  And she enjoys getting gussied up for Dapper events like Dapper Day (Disneyland) and Old Hollywood Day (Universal Studios).  She LOVES shopping at the vintage and vintage-inspired stores on Magnolia Blvd.. 

She loves traveling and is currently learning Japanese.  Her dream is to one day visit Japan and Disney Tokyo. 

Gabe Miller

When Gabe isn't busy editing our podcast, he works as a Writer/Executive Producer of NBC's Superstore.  He is supremely humble and would be horrified if we told you that his screen credits include "The Late Show with David Letterman", "The Office", "The Mindy Project", "The Cleveland Show" and many others. He met the love of his life on the set of "Keenan and Kel" when she dazzled him with her ladder climbing and power tool skills. 

Gabe grew up in Florida, not far from Walt Disney World.  He isn't as much of a Disneyphile as Heidi and Ella but he is very supportive of their passions.  He is a big fan of Comic Books and his Mom says that he learned to read as he eagerly flipped through comics.  He is also a talented artist but doesn't have as much time as he would like to draw. 

His favorite cosplay to wear to Fan Conventions is Quicksilver.

Milo Miller

Milo is a big gamer.  He is really into playing Lego Dimensions on both his Wii-U and PS4 systems.  He also likes Star Wars' Battlefront.  His favorite fandoms include Marvel, DC, Star Wars, and Lego.  He is a film junkie who loves comedies and Super Hero films. 

He loves to listen to Eminem, Dr. Dre (clean versions), Michael Jackson, Will.i.am and the Weekend.  All of those artists have inspired him to mix his own music with his friends.

He is a true ham who knows how to make his friends laugh.  His favorite ride at the Disneyland Resort is Guardians of the Galaxy.
